1. Warranty Coverage by Product Category

A. Tonneau Covers

• 🛠 Warranty Period: 2-Year Limited Warranty
• 📌 Coverage:
  • Defects in materials or workmanship under normal use and proper installation.
  • Stitching, seals, vinyl, aluminum panels, or surface material failures caused by manufacturing defects.
  • Hinge, latch, clamp, tension system, buckle, or safety strap defects that affect normal operation.
  • Water leakage caused by confirmed product defects, provided the cover has been properly installed according to LAX instructions.
• 📌 Exclusions:
  • Improper installation, adjustment, removal, or service not following LAX instructions.
  • Use of non-LAX-approved parts, hardware, clamps, brackets, seals, or accessories.
  • Wind whip damage caused by driving with the cover loose, unsecured, or not fastened at all required points.
  • Improper clamp use, including clamps that are not tightened enough to securely grip the inner bedside metal surface.
  • Damage caused by folding, rolling, or operating the cover while latches, buckles, straps, or clamps are not properly stowed or secured.
  • Driving with the cover open, folded, or rolled without securing all required safety straps, buckles, or locking mechanisms.
  • Damage caused by cargo touching, pushing against, lifting, or rubbing against the underside of the cover.
  • Damage caused by placing weight on top of the cover, unless the product is specifically rated for such use and used within the stated limit.
  • Damage caused by opening, folding, or rolling the cover before removing snow, ice, dirt, leaves, or other debris from the surface.
  • Water leakage caused by incorrect installation, poor seal placement, vehicle bed condition, aftermarket bed liners, bed rail caps, accessories, or vehicle modifications.
  • Interference or fitment issues caused by other installed accessories, racks, trailers, toolboxes, bed liners, or aftermarket modifications.
  • Damage caused by accidents, collisions, road debris, off-road use, misuse, neglect, overloading, unauthorized modifications, or acts of nature.
  • Damage caused by automatic “brush-style” car washes, pressure washing too close to the cover, abrasive cleaners, silicone-based cleaners, harsh chemicals, solvents, or improper cleaning methods.
  • Natural aging, normal wear and tear, minor fading, scratches, dents, chips, cosmetic marks, or other appearance-related issues after installation or use.
  • Consequential or incidental damages, including but not limited to labor, installation, removal, repair, vehicle damage, lost time, lost income, or third-party service costs.

B. Pickup Truck Cap

• 🛠 Warranty Period: 3-Year Limited Warranty (2-Year for Light Parts)
• 📌 Coverage:
  • Structural defects in the cap frame or panels caused by manufacturing defects.
  • Hardware defects (hinges, locks, latches/handles, gas struts) that affect normal operation under normal use.
• 📌 Exclusions:
  • Damage caused by accidents, misuse, neglect, improper installation, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Normal wear and tear, scratches, or cosmetic damage.
  • Damage caused by off-road use, overloading, or excessive exposure to extreme environmental conditions.
  • Any product that has been altered, modified, or repaired by unauthorized personnel.
  • Damages due to improper maintenance or failure to follow installation guidelines.
  • Use of harsh cleaning chemicals (only mild soap and water should be used).
  • Damage from accidents, off-road use, or unauthorized modifications.
  • Damage caused by automatic “brush-style” car washes.
  • Natural aging, normal wear and tear, or cosmetic damage.

D. Fender Flares

2. What is Covered Under Warranty?

• Materials (aluminum, plastic, rubber, fiberglass, steel) under normal conditions.
• Welding, stitching, or adhesive failures affecting performance.
• Premature peeling, cracking, or rusting not caused by neglect.
• Mounting hardware or brackets that fail under normal conditions.

3. What is NOT Covered?

• Damage caused by improper installation, misuse, or modifications.
• Normal wear and tear such as minor fading, scratches, or rust.
• Accidents, collisions, road debris damage, or external impacts.
• Water leakage due to incorrect installation of tonneau covers or caps.
• Damage from commercial or off-road racing use.
• Overloading cargo carriers, roof racks, or hitch-mounted accessories beyond recommended limits.
• Costs of labor, installation, removal, transportation, or shipping fees.

4. Warranty Claim Process

• Fill out the required information, including proof of purchase and a detailed description of the issue.
• Attach clear photos or videos showcasing the problem.

• Proof of Purchase (Order Number, Invoice, or Receipt).
• Clear Photos/Videos showing the defect from multiple angles.
• Detailed Description of how and when the issue was noticed.

Step 3: Warranty Assessment & Resolution

• Our team will review your claim within 3 business days.
• If approved, we will:
  • Repair or replace the defective item.
  • Provide an equivalent replacement if the original product is unavailable.
  • Offer a partial refund if a replacement is not possible.
• Customers may be responsible for return shipping costs, except for confirmed defective products.

5. Warranty Limitations & Exclusions

• Warranty is NON-TRANSFERABLE and applies only to the original purchaser.
• Products used for commercial, fleet, or rental vehicles may have limited coverage.
• Warranty coverage applies only to orders shipped within Canada and the U.S.
