The improved Gen 2 structure reduces assembly time to approximately 40 minutes. A factory utility track system is required for installation on this Toyota Tacoma application.

Overall, I’m very happy with the truck cap. It looks great, feels tough, and seems like it will hold up well over time. The only issue I had was with the clamp tension. After a hard stop in traffic, the cap shifted forward and touched the cab, so I had to readjust it. Since the cap is quite heavy, repositioning it alone was difficult. Other than that, it’s a solid product and I really like it.
